At the LSA16 conference in San Francisco, and in our press release on Tuesday, we announced that Manish Patel, CEO of Brandify, has joined the LSA Board of Directors. I am very excited to have Manish join our board and look forward to working with him as we continue to evolve the Association with the constantly changing local and location-based marketing space.
A big reason we felt Manish is a perfect fit for the board is because of his longevity in the industry and deep knowledge of the enterprise multi-location market. Brandify works with over 500 national brands and clients across 500,000 brick-and-mortar locations. Accordingly, Manish brings valuable “national-local” perspective to the board.
Outside of his and his company’s expertise and insight, Manish has expressed a strong interest in the future of the LSA as an organization and has been an avid supporter. He and his team have worked with us on our annual event, LSA Bootcamps, Think Tanks, contributed to our blog, hosted a webinar and have supported a variety of other initiatives.
Manish is the latest addition to a board that has changed drastically in complexion over the last few years. The growth in the board is intended to better represent the diversity of companies in the space and the latest companies to join include Google, Microsoft, Yelp, NinthDecimal, ReachLocal and now Brandify.
I am very excited about our future here at LSA. Manish joins a great group of engaged executives on our board and I am looking forward to working with them all to develop initiatives that elevate our members and our industry as a whole.
